Glover, Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), has been crowned Mrs. Arkansas 2025 under the prestigious USA World Pageant Organization, a renowned platform for women’s empowerment and leadership. In November 2025, she will carry the pride of her alma mater, her students, and the State of Arkansas onto the national stage, with the opportunity to advance and represent the United States internationally.

A New Era for UAPB Theater: From The Color Purple to Memphis the Musical

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) Theater Department is undergoing a remarkable revitalization, a testament to the collective efforts of faculty, students, and the community. As UAPB ends the 2025 spring semester, Taijee Bunch, in his first year as UAPB’s theater instructor, has directed the production of The Color Purple, The Musical in April and is currently working as the director for Memphis the Musical, set to grace the Catherine M. Bellamy Theater at The Arts & Science Center, 701 S. Main St. in Pine Bluff, from July 17-20, 2025.
