Alumni Spotlight: Dr. Sonji Williams Garvin Baxter
Dr. Sonji Williams Garvin Baxter is a native of Sumter and a 1988 Morris College graduate. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, a United States Navy veteran, and a speech language pathologist.
Additionally, Dr. Baxter is the owner of Sonji Reno Productions, LLC a premier Theatrical Company, where she serves as a playwright, producer, director and actress. This dynamic production company returned to the stage with the new breathtaking musical stage play, “An Issue Of Blood,” at the Richland Two Performing Art Center in Columbia, South Carolina
