On May 10, 2025, he received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) during the Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremony. The first Fulbright Day at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) was held on May 1, 2025, as a collaboration between the UAPB Office of International Programs and Studies (OIPS) and the Arkansas Chapter of the Fulbright Association. Named in honor of Senator J. William Fulbright, U.S. Senator for Arkansas, 1945-1974, who also served as Chair of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Fulbright Programs for students, scholars, artists, professionals, and others have supported and promoted global understanding across national borders.
