Graduating seniors from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) are stepping confidently into the workforce after receiving full-time job offers through the support of UAPB’s Office of Career Services. Each student highlighted below also participated in the university’s Fall 2025 Commencement in December, marking a milestone achievement in both academic and professional success. These career outcomes reflect UAPB’s continued commitment to preparing students for competitive careers through experiential learning, employer engagement, and individualized career coaching.
Before arriving at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), Jordan Lowe received advice he did not initially understand.
“Pine Bluff is what you make it. It’s easy to see all of the bad things that are wrong with Pine Bluff, but it’s harder to find the good. But when you find the good, it’s gold. I have found the good, and it definitely is gold,” Lowe said. The Memphis, Tennessee native received his Bachelor of Science in Administration and Finance during UAPB’s 172nd commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Mari’Neisha Hardrick, a student at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), where she honed her voice, strengthened her purpose, and learned the power of storytelling, is preparing to take the next bold step in her journey. The UAPB Department of Multimedia Communication (DMMC) Fall 2025 graduating senior—known for her passion for media justice, cultural representation, and community-centered storytelling—will soon leave the familiar halls of UAPB with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the UAPB School of Arts & Sciences. In the Fall of 2026, she will begin pursuing a Master of Arts from the University of Alabama’s Graduate School, College of Communication & Information Sciences, Journalism and Media Studies.
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) Office of Alumni Affairs featured a series of notable social media posts on UAPB’s Facebook and Instagram pages, titled “Throwback Tuesday” and “Throwback Thursday” (TBT). These posts, which were part of a new initiative this year, aimed to highlight the 15 classes that celebrated their reunions during Homecoming 2025. In the months leading up to the Annual UAPB Alumni Assembly, the posts featured a variety of content, including unforgettable yearbook photos, interesting facts about each class, and personal stories from alumni, offering a comprehensive look back in anticipation of being recognized at the Annual UAPB Alumni Assembly.
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) is excited to kick off New Student Orientation (NSO) sessions this summer to welcome the Fall 2025 class! The first of six sessions is scheduled for Friday, June 6. We are committed to supporting our incoming students in a smooth transition to our institution and look forward to the opportunity to welcome them.
