Complaint Procedures Against the Commission or its Accredited Institutions:

Morris College takes all complaints seriously and will work diligently to resolve any and all matters following the grievance policy of the institution. All external complaints must follow the same procedures as student and employee complaints, and those external complaints are housed within the respective administrative office that resolved the complaint.

If an individual goes through the entire complaint process at Morris College (including the grievance hearing process) and is still dissatisfied with the handling of their complaint, he or she can file a complaint/appeal to the Board of Trustees of Morris College. External complaints should never be sought if the individual has NOT allowed the college to properly investigate and take action against a complaint in order to resolve such a complaint.

For matters that are related to specific accrediting issues, complaints should first be reported to the College in order for the College to respond and settle all complaints first before reporting matters to Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). If those complaints are not resolved, individuals can report such matters to SACSCOC, 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA, 30033.
