Jalen Smith is a native of Valdosta, Georgia, whose passion for ministry began early — he preached his first sermon at age 14. He graduated from Valdosta State University in May 2023 with a B.A. in Political Science and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy. At Valdosta State, Jalen served two terms as President of the Student Government Association, earning honors including the VSU Future Alumni Leader Award, the Eternal Flame Award, and the Regent Willis J. Potts SAC Leadership Award — the state’s highest recognition for an SGA President. He also founded Courageous Campus Ministries at VSU, growing a community of over 100 students through Bible studies, baptisms, and worship services. Jalen is committed to service, advocacy, and spiritual leadership — a passionate voice for the marginalized, a mentor to young leaders, and a messenger of unity through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
