Morris College GAP Funding
The purpose of GAP Funding is to help students close any remaining financial gaps after all other HBCU financial aid options have been applied.
These institutional resources are designed to assist with direct educational costs once federal, state, and institutional aid, including Federal Direct Loans, have been exhausted. GAP funds are limited, awarded only once, and are not guaranteed in future years. If you receive outside scholarships or awards, your GAP funding will be reduced accordingly.
If students have scholarships or grants applied from the sources below, these may be considered GAP funding:
- General Endowed Scholarship
- Endowed Board of Trustees Scholarship
- Morris College Special Scholarship
- Institutional Endowment Funds
- Named Donor Scholarships
- Morris College Special Grant
- Trustee or Centennial Endowed Awards
- Emergency Assistance Funds
- Campaign Drive Contributions
- Other Endowed or Restricted Scholarships
A Morris College education is a valuable investment in your future. Please remember it is ultimately your responsibility, along with your family, to secure additional funding for the academic year and beyond, as GAP funds may not always be available. While our team is here to guide and support you, we strongly encourage seeking external scholarships and other funding opportunities to help cover the cost of your Morris College education.
