The Morris Honors College is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant, supportive, and academically learning community. Our mission is to empower high-achieving scholars to take responsibility for their education, develop empathy and respect for others, and engage in various academic and leadership opportunities. By offering support while maintaining high expectations, we prepare scholars to become innovative thinkers and leaders within their fields and communities.

The Morris Honors College is a four-year comprehensive program that provides special learning opportunities for students of outstanding intellectual ability, high motivation, and broad interests. The program systematically emphasizes leadership and social outreach in classes and co-curricular activities from freshman year to graduation. The program has established a record of actively supporting the College’s mission by introducing its students at the freshman level, in classes, and external meetings, to active interest and participation in social justice and community engagement.
