TOUR GUIDES
Our campus tours are proudly led by Morris College’s Campus Ambassadors, also known as Hornet Ambassadors — a select group of current students chosen to represent the very best of what Morris College has to offer. Hornet Ambassadors are more than guides; they are storytellers, mentors, and passionate advocates for the institution’s rich history and legacy as a private, faith-based Historically Black College. Through their own experiences, they offer prospective students and families critical insight into the academics, traditions, campus culture, and support systems that define life as a Morris College Hornet.
Hornet Ambassadors are carefully selected for their leadership, campus involvement, and genuine enthusiasm for sharing the Morris College story. They are instrumental to the campus tour experience, offering a vital, student-centered perspective that helps prospective students and their families understand not just what Morris College offers, but what it truly feels like to belong here. From classroom experiences to campus organizations, residence life to career preparation, our Hornet Ambassadors help guests envision what their own Morris College journey could look like.
ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS
Upon arriving to campus, all guests are required to check in at the campus security gate and present a valid photo ID before proceeding. Once checked in, guests should proceed to the designated visitor parking area near the Admissions & Recruitment office. Guests arriving by bus, van, or other large vehicle will be directed by campus security to a specific parking location suited to their vehicle size; please notify our office in advance if your group will be arriving by large vehicle so accommodations can be made. We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time to allow for check-in and parking.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
The safety of our guests is a top priority. In the event of inclement weather, campus tours may be delayed, rescheduled, or conducted with modified routing to keep guests safe. Should weather conditions require a change to your scheduled tour, the Office of Admissions & Recruitment will make every effort to contact you in advance using the information provided at scheduling. If you have questions about a tour’s status due to weather, please contact [email protected] prior to your visit.
