The provision of quality student activities is vital to meeting the College’s goal of producing highly educated and well-rounded students who are prepared to compete in the 21st-century global society. Student activities provide opportunities for students to enhance their academic development as they strengthen their leadership and overall soft skills. Each student is encouraged to join the organization that provides for him/her an avenue for personal fulfillment, skills development, and professional development. Currently, the College offers more than fifty organizations to include social and academic clubs, honor societies, Greek- letter organizations, music groups, sports teams, cultural and recreational programs and activities, and intramural sports.

The Student Government Association is one of the principal organizations through which students share in the administration of the College. The Student Government Association (SGA) shares with the administration the responsibility for regulating affairs that pertain to students. The organization assists with New Student Orientation, the Student Leadership Retreats, student elections, and voter registration. The SGA also recommends students to serve on standing committees of the College. Through active participation in SGA, students gain leadership experience, soft skills development, and skills in democratic citizenship.
