Welcome to our accreditation website. Since its establishment in 1908, Morris College has emerged as one of the significant accredited institutions in South Carolina that focuses on the education of young African-American students. As President of the college, I have had the opportunity to work with the college’s leadership to ensure a vibrant and growing campus, as we work on the next reaffirmation of accreditation that is targeted for 2032.
With the emergence of new technologies, we are continually updating the way that we do things at the college, but we never lose sight of our fundamental mission of ensuring that our students receive the training and the guidance necessary to move into the high tech society that awaits them and to succeed once they are there. The reaffirmation project allows us to reflect on the direction that the college is going and to ensure that we are going in the right direction. Thank you for taking the time to visit with us.
