National Women's History Month is being celebrated by Support Matters, LLC throughout the month of March. The important roles that women have played throughout history, society, and culture are honored and recognized. By looking back at the pioneers of the movement for gender equality in the United States and looking forward to the trailblazers of today, this month is a time to celebrate the successes and contributions of women from all walks of life throughout the nation's history.
We would like to take this opportunity to recognize Mrs. Glories “Coralette” Franklin Scriven. She has over 52 years of experience teaching students ranging from first grade to college level. Her experience spans the entire educational spectrum. Mrs. Scriven is a widow, mom, g-mom, aunt, sister, dream chaser, educator, and God seeker, and helper to many. She frequently shows her generosity by serving others, including her students, her colleagues, and the people in her community. While she is in the classroom instructing her students, she is constantly advocating for them and instilling in them important lessons that can be applied to their lives. We hope that this month will inspire students, parents, educators, and businesses to learn about women's history and reflect on the ways in which women's lives have changed and continue to evolve. As a result, we applaud Mrs. Scriven's initiatives and wish her the very best as she continues to spread her message about her experiences in the classroom.
