DeAngelo Adams '21 recently accepted a new position as a Physical Education teacher and head basketball coach at Williams Middle School. While Adams was a student at Morris College, he was extremely actively involved. Adams served as a president of Men of Morris and was the Student Government Association Business Manager. Adams was also a National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Student Leader, Student Ambassador, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Xi Epsilon Chapter, and was on the college's Dean List. Additionally, Adams was a former Mister Morris College and was on the Men’s Basketball, Baseball, and Men’s Cross Country teams.
"I first would like to give honor to God who is the head in my life. Secondly, I would like to give a special thank you to Williams Middle School. To Principal Dr. Green, Athletic Director Mrs. Tamplin, Coach Carlos Powell, and Athletic Director Mr. McQueen, I just wanted to share my sincerest thank you. I am very fortunate to be a part of the Tiger Family," said Adams.
Adams is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Athletic Coaching at Columbia College. Morris College would like to say congratulations and that we wish Adams well in his future endeavors.
