Morris College held its Pre-Fall Harvest Worship Service and Rally on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the Neal-Jones Auditorium. During the assembly, the Reverend Dr. Charles M. Pee, assistant professor of Religion in the Division of Religion, Humanities and Social Science and College Minister, delivered an encouraging message entitled “The Need to Give.”
Gifts reported at the assembly included $6,636.66 from the faculty and staff and $3,625 from students. Additionally, 2021-2022 Mr. and Miss Co-Ed and Miss Homecoming winners were announced and crowned at the assembly. The winners were Bracia Gero, Miss Co-Ed; Jarvis Ballentine, Mr. Co-Ed; and Gabrielle Johnson, Miss Homecoming.
Monies raised by the campus community will go to UNCF and its campaign drive. Student classes, clubs, and organizations have until April to honor their pledges. Faculty and staff have until the end of the spring semester.
