The Lady and Men Hornets will contend against Paine College for the Homecoming basketball games on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm, respectively. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, only the following groups will be allowed inside the Garrick- Boykin Human Development Center (gym) for the games:

  • Members of the Board of Trustees
  • 50 Morris College National Association Life Members (must present membership card or wear member’s jacket)
  • 5 guests per basketball player on the Lady and Men Hornet’s Team
  • All currently enrolled students with a current validated Student ID Card
  • The first 100 attendees with a Vaccination Card, state-issued driver’s license or ID Card, and a mask

Members of the aforementioned groups MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED (have at least two doses of the Moderna or Pfizer Vaccine) TO ENTER THE GYM. Vaccination Card and a state-issued Driver’s License or ID Card are required and will be verified upon entering the gym. Wearing a mask or soft face covering is required.

Important Reminders:

The games will be featured via jumbotron on the Campus Athletic Field. Tailgate spots will require a $100.00 deposit, and tailgate sponsors will be permitted to have only (4) persons to assist with setting up, cooking, etc. For individuals not sponsoring a tailgate spot, the general admission fee is $25.00 per person to attend this year’s events; the fee grants access to the tailgate party, the dining hall, and the basketball games.

Currently enrolled students and faculty and staff will enter the campus through the College Street entrance; other attendees will enter the campus through the Stark Street entrance.

Please be mindful that a continued surge in Coronavirus cases may warrant the cancellation of all planned Homecoming activities. The College will follow the guidance of public health officials.
