With a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management earned with High Honors at 70, Modestine exemplifies lifelong dedication to serving the homeless community.

As an ordained minister and founder of Resurrection Restoration Center for the Homeless, Modestine has positively impacted countless lives through her unwavering commitment to service. Her recent achievement—a standout capstone project titled “The Impact of Global Warming on Resource Management for the Elderly Homeless Population”—highlights both her expertise and her dedication to addressing urgent, real-world challenges.

Modestine's impressive work caught the attention of Duke University (leading to an invitation to join their Heating Impact /Climate Coalition of Cooling Communities: Strategic Partnership For Energy Equity in the Carolinas Summit as a distinguished participant and panelist.
