Spring 2020 Commencement Rescheduled

Morris College reschedules 2020 Commencement

We are delighted to announce that Morris College has rescheduled its spring commencement ceremony for Saturday, August 8, 2020, at 10 a.m. in the Garrick-Boykin Human Development Center, on the campus of Morris College.

As you know, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster declared a State of Emergency and urged organizers of large public gatherings to cancel events to combat the spread of COVID-19. As the virus led to a global pandemic, we found ourselves in a public health crisis, and, like most universities worldwide, were forced to postpone the commencement ceremony initially scheduled for May 2.

Morris College recognizes that commencement is a joyous time and an incredible accomplishment to be celebrated by our graduates and their families. We look forward to honoring our graduates and celebrating their commitment and dedication during a global crisis.

Further details regarding commencement preparations will be forthcoming.
