Mundy's Mill High senior Jayla Carter has made her decision to continue her academic and athletic career at Morris College.
Carter saw marked improvement over her junior numbers as she experienced improved shooting numbers. During her junior season, Carter averaged 9.4 points through 25 games.
The senior picked up 13.5 points this season and was credited with 74 rebounds and 46 steals.
Using Twitter, Carter announced her decision
"First off, I want to thank God for giving me the ability to play ball and to use basketball as a platform to share his word with others," Carter said. "I want to thank my mom for always sticking with me through thick and thin and always being my shoulder to lean on and just being awesome and very supportive.
Welcome to Hornet Nation Jayla.
