Morris College Atlanta Alumni Chapter Scholarship Award
Morris College, founded in 1908 is a historically black, co-educational, liberal arts college, operated by the Baptist Educational and Missionary Convention of South Carolina.
Scholarship applications from full-time students will be accepted starting September 1st through November 16th. Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, books, and related living expenses while attending Morris College.
Scholarship Criteria:
- Must reside in the Atlanta Metro area
- Must be a full-time student
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Must have demonstrated leadership skills in school and the community
- Must have participated in community service projects
An application must contain:
- A 500-word essay describing your background, career goals, objectives, and other experiences that have contributed to your personal development and future aspirations. Use a separate sheet.
- Official high school or college transcript.
- Two letters of recommendation from a teacher, employer, clergy, coach, or counselor
Deadline: Completed application must be postmarked by November 16th
or submitted electronically by November 16th
No exceptions will be made for late applications
