Morris College Academic TRiO Program

Created as a result of the Higher Education Act of 1965, the TRIO program provides federal funds to institutions of higher learning to provide services to students from disadvantaged backgrounds to support their efforts to pursue a college education. Primary services include tutoring, counseling, mentoring, personal financial education and other support activities.

At Morris College, the TRIO program is organized under two major activities, which are Upward Bound and the Office of Student Support Services.
