According to data collected on Morris College graduates between 2010 and 2014, there is a significant increase in the number of recent graduates enrolling and completing graduate and professional schools. Under the leadership of President Luns C. Richardson, the faculty and staff are doing an excellent job in preparing students in realizing their career goals for immediate job placement in the world of work, as well as preparing students for further studies beyond Morris College. “This is a good trend,” President Richardson commented, “which indicates that more of our students understand that going to graduate or professional school is needed to further enrich their education.”
Morris College graduates are seeking advanced degrees in a variety of academic disciplines such as Religion, Optometry, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Medicine, Optical Engineering, Nursing, English, Sociology, History, Criminal Justice, and many others.
They are pursuing these degrees at institutions such as the College of Charleston, Florida A&M University, and Princeton Theological Seminary to name a few.
