Chariti Crum Crowned 59th Miss Morris College

Morris College and the Student Government Association are proud to announce Miss Chariti F. Crum, a senior from Lexington, SC, was formally crowned Miss Morris College by President Luns. C. Richardson on Friday October 19, 2012. Chariti is the daughter of Albert and Alfreda Crum.

Majoring in sociology, this UNCF/Mellon Fellow has plans to pursue a doctorate in administrative social work.

Chariti is very active at Morris College. She is on the Dean’s List, a member of the Honors Program, Xi Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Morris College Cheerleaders. Chariti made the President’s List in fall of 2010 and she views this as her greatest accomplishment of college life thus far. In fall of 2011, Chariti served as the first attendant to Miss Morris College.

Miss Crum was accompanied by First Attendant, Miss Ebonie A. Harris, a senior from Augusta, Ga.; Second Attendant, Miss Yolanda J. Stiphenson, a senior from Stone Mountain, Ga. and a full court representing the various student organizations of the college. A reception and ball in the queen’s honor immediately followed the coronation.
