Isiah D. Brown is the first fellow from Morris College to be chosen to participate in the Walton-UNCF Education Reform Fellowship Program. The Program is a leadership and talent development initiative aimed at building a robust pipeline of high-achieving African-Americans engaged in education reform.
Main components of the Program included a paid summer intership, student leadership conference, education reform case competition, career coaching, as well as alumni and networking opportunities.
Brown, a rising senior from Florence, SC majoring in elementary education; completed a sumer internship with the Foundation Preparatory Charter School in New Orleans, LA. He is an active member of the Morris College Pre-Alumni Council and the college's Call Me MISTER Program.
