ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF CRIMINAL JUSTICETo teach a variety of courses each semester in criminal justice. The position also includes student academic advising and college committee assignments. Must have Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from a regionally accredited institution. Must be available for employment August 12, 2010.

ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF ENGLISH:  To teach four or five courses (12 to 15 hour credits) each semester in English. Participate in registration, student advising, committee assignments and other duties as assigned. Must have Ph.D. in English from a regionally accredited institution. Must be available for employment August 12, 2010.

ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF HEALTH SCIENCES:  To teach four to five courses (12 to 15 credit hours) each semester in Health Sciences.  Participate in registration, student advising, committee assignments, and other duties as assigned.  Must have a Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Health Sciences from a regionally accredited institution.  Must be available for employment August 12, 2010.

ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF MATHEMATICS:  To teach mathematics courses ranging in scope from college algebra to calculus series, and from abstract and linear algebra to differential equations.  Applicant must possess the ability, the credentials and the desire to advise and engage undergraduate students in research and other mathematical activities.  Applicant must have the background and desire to integrate computer technology to the teaching of mathematics.  Ph.D. and experience in full-time college teaching required.  Must be available for employment August 12, 2010.

ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF RECREATION ADMININSTRATION:  To teach a variety of courses in the Recreation Administration Program. The position also includes student academic advising and college committee assignments. A Ph.D. is required from a regionally accredited institution in related fields of Parks and Recreation, Tourism and Travel, and/or Recreation Administration. Must be available for employment August 12, 2010.

DIRECTOR OF ASSESSMENT: To implement an institution-wide assessment program for the college. Responsibilities include developing assessment processes, collecting and analyzing data, coordinating program reviews, overseeing the cyclical assessment process, compiling and distributing reports, conducting short-term and longitudinal studies, and archival of assessment documents. Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in a social science field, education, statistics, mathematics, computer information systems or related field from an accredited institution; demonstrated abilities with research methodology and statistical methods, data collection and analysis, relational databases and other application software, team work, and effective communication skills; and three years of relevant work experience in an institution of higher education. Salary dependent upon training and experience. Effective Immediately. 

ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR: To carry out a program of student recruitment designed to establish a continuous flow of qualified applicants to the college. Travel is required. Must have a bachelors degree in education, psychology, social sciences or English and one year of experience in teaching, recruitment, social sciences or related contact work. Salary dependent upon training and experience. Effective Immediately.

Accountant and Loan Collection Coordinator:  To perform general accounting duties and to coordinate all activities and procedures relating to the collection of student loans. Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or business management and two years of relevant experience in accounting or general business. Salary dependent upon training and experience. Effective Immediately.

PURCHASING CLERK-SECRETARY:  Renders various data entry, data retrieval and clerical service, required to support the College’s financial and purchasing operations. Must have an Associate degree in Secretarial Science, and two years of secretarial experience required. Effective Immediately.

SECURITY OFFICER: Responsibilities would include patrolling the campus to ensure the security of persons and property, maintaining good order, investigating incidents of disruption on the campus, and controlling campus traffic. Effective Immediately.

STUDENT CENTER MANAGER: To administer all of the facilities and functions of the colleges Student Center. Must have an associate degree (bachelor degree preferred) in business administration or other relevant field and two years of experience in business management, sales, or general administration. Salary is negotiable. Effective Immediately. 

MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT: To work under direct supervision rendering custodial and grounds keeping services. Applicants must possess a valid South Carolina drivers license. Some weekend work required. Effective Immediately.

RESIDENCE HALL ASSISTANT (MALE DORMITORY) (Full-Time & Part-Time): To supervise and monitor the residence hall, assist residents with all aspects of the housing program, and make periodic checks of student’s rooms and general areas.   Effective Immediately.
